This Saturday 5 November, anyone in the Larne and surrounding areas are very welcome to Millbrook Community Centre, just off the first roundabout into Larne, to pick up any winter coats, hats, scarves and gloves they or their children/dependents could do with this winter. There is also a selection of gifts and preloved toys free to good homes, that could be used as potential Christmas presents.
We know this Winter will be difficult for many, even if in employment. This is not means tested in any way. People are free to browse and fill a bag/s at their leisure, and have a cup of tea and coffee for as long as they want in the heat. We will be open from 10.30am to 3pm.
This is being run by Millbrook Church of the Nazarene and Millbrook Community Centre, in association with the ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) Winter Coat Project.
